importantissimo nell’impegno agonistico.
Oval Zone line is the risult of long studies and its correspondant long series of tests on
field of the new MTB and BDC oval ring.
The cloose cooperation with a bio-mechanical study center our ingeneers have realized
the final profile of oval rings.
OVAL ZONE line is effectively a double line as it is devided in STRONG and RACE
STRONG line is dedicated to training time instead RACE line is dedicated to
competitions time and the difference between them is the application of the oval with
respect to the axis of the crank arm.
OVAL ZONE STRONG have the aim to be used during winter training and
additionally in weekly use time during competitive season time.
They force to use some muscle parts that normally aren't recall during the normal
pedaling athletic action with classic rings:
result is an important increase of power in little time as first step and power and
muscle resistance increase in second step.
OVAL ZONE RACE have the aim to be used during competitions and after OVAL
ZONE STRONG training: they are more "soft" , forcing less all muscles and helping
them with energy saving; result is a smaller muscle effort equal to same work, very
important during competitive engagement
.
It would be optimal the usage of OVAL STRONG on training bike and OVAL RACE
on competition bike.
Information
OVAL rings usage needs a time of setting different from each biker basing on personal
preparation but with ARI rings it is particularly short.
Not round pedaling sensation desappears after few rides and benefits are evident after
few hundreds of km.
An initial muscular aching can't be avoid and it is absolutely normal, due to the usage of
those muscle parts normally not used; we suggest only for first trainings to limit km
rided and not to force pedaling rhythm.
Technical Data Sheet
Dear biker,
to help you in choosing your Ari Oval rings we though to list hereunder the answers of
user's more frequent questions
1.
crank lenght using Ari Oval must not be modified from those normally used as
this does not bring any benefit to pedaling. In case you can change number of ring
teeth
2.
using Ari Oval Strong we suggest the same ring teeth used with classic rings
(trend with their use will be to use a smaller pinion of the rear cassette pedaling
with same teeth in same tracks)
3.
with Ari Oval Race it will become natural the need to use a tooth more on front
rings therefore we suggest to purchase a kit with one tooth more of those usually
mounted
4.
with Ari Oval Strong derailleur regolation does not change with equal teeth if
you already use Ari rings
5.
mounting Ari Oval Race and using as suggested a tooth more, derailleur must be
moved up of about 2mm
stay tuned!!
