Dear biker, to help you in choosing your Ari Oval chainrings we though to list hereunder the answers to the most frequent questions of the bikers 1. crank lenght using Ari Oval must not be modified from that normally used as this does not bring any benefit to pedaling. In case you can change number of chainring teeth 2. using Ari Oval Strong we suggest the same chainring teeth used with classic chainrings (trend with their use will be to use a smaller cog of the rear cassette pedaling with same teeth in same tracks) 3. with Ari Oval Race it will become natural the need to use a tooth more on front chainrings therefore we suggest to purchase a kit with one tooth more of those usually mounted 4. with Ari Oval Strong derailleur regulation does not change with equal teeth if you already use Ari chainrings 5. mounting Ari Oval Race and using as suggested a tooth more, derailleur must be moved up of about 2mm 6. with Ari Oval chainrings for MTB, we recommend the following chains: Shimano XTR CN-M981 or Sram XX/XØ PC 1091 for 10 speed groupsSram PC XX1 or Shimano XTR CN-HG900 for 11 speed groups It is important not to use other brands or medium / low quality chains 7.  with Ari Oval chainrings for ROAD, we recommend the following chains: Shimano DURA-ACE CN-7901 / Sram PC1091R. / Campagnolo RECORD 10S for 10 speed groups Shimano DURA-ACE CN-9000 / Sram RED 22 / Campagnolo RECORD 11S for 11 speed groups It is important not to use other brands or medium / low quality chains stay tuned!!
